Product Overview
Our diesel fuel filter monitors
use solid state differential pressure sensing technology to monitor the resistance to fuel flow through the filter
or filter bank. Differential
sensing allows us to provide better scale resolution for closer,
more sensitive monitoring of the filter condition. Our sensor is also not affected by changes in head pressures
caused by changing tank levels.
Our electronic gauge is easily mounted remotely from the sensor with a
three conductor,# 24awg, wiring or our DATA LINK wireless interface.
Model Selection Guide
All of
our Diesel fuel filter monitor systems use either our FVSM-50 or FVSM-50-COM differential pressure sensing modules.
When the lift pump is between the filters and the engine (or on the engine) the fuel is under vacuum, suffix
V, and supplied with a gauge scale of 0-16 in-hg. When the lift pump is on the tank side of the filter ( ie. in
or near the fuel tank) the fuel is pressurized, suffix P, and supplied with a gauge scale of 0-8 psi.
The LF, MF and HF suffix refer only to the size of the tee fittings supplied with the system. They
represent low, medium, and high fuel flow rates or tee sizes 3/8"NPTF, 1/2"NPTF, and 3/4"NPTF respectively. Select size
based on your fuel line plumbing sizes and engine fuel flow requirements.
For commercial marine and
heavy industrial applications see our DFM-50-xx-x-COM and DFM-50-xx-x-IND. These models are supplied with our FVSM-50-COM
sensor.
Gauges are also sold separately for installations that require two station indication such as flybridge and wheelhouse
applications.

The DFM-50-LF-V(P), DFM-50-MF-V(P) and DFM-50-HF-V(P) include the following.

ends .
