The MCP-500-MC is the heart of the monitor and control system. It has a 6" color TFT LCD touch screen that allows you to switch from one screen to another with a simple touch of a box displayed on the screen.  All of the screens below are included in this model.

Optional 8", 10" and 15" TFT screen sizes are available.   Sunlight viewable trans-reflective screens are available in 6" and 10" sizes. Optional web server cards are available for all systems.  Optional custom monitoring and control functions are also available.  Pleas contact us with your specific requirements.

Features included in the MCP-500-MC

Tank level monitoring of up to four water and two fuel tanks. They can be set up according to your requirements. All of these tanks can be linearized with a simple set up procedure.  Alarm levels can be set for each tank.

AC voltage and current monitoring with alarm set points for low and high voltage and high load current.

DC voltage monitoring of engine and house batteries and current monitoring of the house batteries.  Alarm set points are included for low battery voltages.

Temperature monitoring of up to three refrigeration compartments with on screen adjustment of high and low temperature alarm set points.

Automatic control of the generator when loss of AC power and/or low DC house voltage occur.  The generator must be equipped with automatic shut down controls and use momentary glow, start, and stop switching for this feature to be used.

Automatic transfer switch control with our automatic transfer switch.

Advanced twenty five point tank linearization program for scaling all tanks.

Automatic load shedding of one non-essential load on line 1 and line 2 when the load reaches the maximum level. The loads are automatically re-applied when the load current drops to an acceptable level.

Automatic pump out of grey and black water tanks at set time of day.

The MCP-500-MC can be installed complete with all of the sensing interfaces from the beginning or added to in the future.

Interface driver for GSM-LINK wireless text message alarm monitoring.

Tank Level Screen

The Tank Level Screen displays full scale analog display of up to four tanks, we can label them according to your requirements. Alarm points are set in the program for low and/or high levels. When an alarm condition occurs the program changes to the alarm screen and the beeper sounds for ten seconds.

We offer two standard tank level screens as shown.

Fuel level screen with full scale analog display of port and starboard fuel tanks.  Alarm points are set in the program for low fuel. When an alarm condition occurs the program changes to the alarm screen and the beeper sounds for ten seconds.

AC Power Monitor Screen

The AC power monitor screen monitors voltage and current in both L1 and L2 legs. The program has alarm set points for low voltage and high current. When an alarm condition occurs the screen changes to the alarm screen and a beeper sounds for ten seconds.  The MCP-500 program has provisions to start the generator on loss of AC voltage and to shed one level of load when the AC current is too high.

We offer two standard choices for AC power screens, Bar graphs or meters.

DC Power Monitor Screen

The DC power monitor screen displays house and engine battery voltages and house battery load current.  Alarms are set in the program at low DC voltages of both batteries. When an Alarm condition occurs the screen automatically changes to the alarm screen and a beeper sounds for ten seconds.

We offer two standard DC power screens as shown, bar graphs or meters.

Temperature Monitor Screen

The temperature monitor screen displays temperatures in up to three compartments. High and low alarm set points can be set on the screen. When an alarm condition occurs the screen changes to the alarm screen and the beeper sounds for ten seconds.

    Alarm Panel

The Alarm Panel screen automatically displays when an alarm condition is first sensed by the processor. A beeper will sound for ten seconds to notify of a new alarm condition.  After ten seconds the alarm gets placed in the alarm annunciator field until the alarm condition is cleared. The silence alarm button can be activated at any time to silence the beeper.

Bilge Alarm Screen

The bilge alarm screen indicates high bilge water in three bilge compartments.   When a bilge alarm comes into the system the screen automatically changes to the bilge alarm screen and a continuous alarm sounds until the condition is cleared.

Control Panel Screen

The Control Panel Screen is used to activate the control functions of the MCP-500-MC.  The generator can be set to be controlled automatically with loss of AC power and/or low house battery voltage. The load shedding feature can be activated to shed non-essential load if the load current is too high and an automatic black or grey water tank evacuation can be programmed for any time of day.

    Modem Control Screen

The Modem Control Screen provides setup and control functions for the GSM wireless text message modem.   Once activated the system, if equipped with the optional GSM-LINK will send text messages to a cell phone on loss of shore power, generator running, low and high temperatures, low battery voltage, intrusion and shore power on.

    Set up Screen

The Set Up Screen is used for linearizing the six tanks to be monitored by the MCP.  An advanced twenty five point linearising program scales the tanks so actual tank volume is displayed on the screen instead of tank levels. This is provided for the marine MCP's because of the irregular tank shapes that are used in boats.
